Si sono tenuti la notte scorsa gli Emmy 2020, i premi più importanti per il mondo della televisione.

Nel pieno dell’emergenza Covid, i protagonisti sono stati costretti a rinunciare al red carpet e ai patinatissimi ofter party, essendo costretti a partecipare a distanza, collegati virtualmente col conduttore Jimmy Kimmel.

A conquistare il maggior numero di premi per la sezione Comedy è stata la serie TV “Schitt’s Creek” che, prodotta da Eugene Levy e da suo figlio Dan, narra le vicende di una famiglia caduta in disgrazie economiche e costretta pertanto a vivere nell’unico motel della cittadina Schitt’s Creek. Allo show canadese sono andati i premi più prestigiosi quali “Miglior Serie Tv Comica”, “Miglior Attore in una serie TV comica” (Eugene Levy) , ma anche “Miglior Attrice in una serie TV comica” (Catherine O’Hara) e “Miglior attrice non protagonista in una sere TV comica” (Annie Murphy).

Grande successo anche per “Succession“, premiata come “Miglior sere TV Drammatica“.
