In this difficult period of social distancing and isolation in which the gyms and the spaces dedicated to sport are closed, Zalando launches its first remote campaign in which 11 talents offer a look on their own home workout.

Sport is that activity that still manages to unite people, even if only in a virtual way. And Zalando with the new spot manages to make this sharing tangible despite the distance.

It is a videos for social purposes which aims to analyze how different sportsmen face this challengeto which it is now more and more people all over the world, keeping fit at home.

All 11 sports talents have one thing in common: practice sport with passion from their homes, connected with the rest of the community. Discovering that unity is strength.
The video allows you to travel through the homes of different athletes, mixing illustrations, drone and stop motion sequences as well as insights into the sporting life of experts.

Created by the Kolle Rebbe agency in Hamburg, the campaign reflects the new reality of many in which creativity has become an essential element to continue practicing sports while respecting the #restiamoacasa.
Instructors, gyms, and yoga studios offer classes via social media. Athletes meet in digital groups, train at home and create completely new sports equipment. The water bottle becomes a handlebar, the door frame becomes a pull-up bar, the mat becomes a yoga mat.

On the other hand, this campaign is also designed to show solidarity with the many creative professionals who are facing new challenges in the current situation and to convey a message of unity and creativity. The campaign video was directed by Stefanie Soho and the illustrations accompanying the project are made by Deveroe.

It is exciting to enter the homes of talents and “spy” on new scenes that are becoming the new normal. Physical activity that takes place in living rooms, on windows or even on the roof.

Starting with Berlin yoga teacher Steph Cusack which connects via Zoom in a virtual classroom, then moves to the home of Phillip Pratt training with a wheelchair as a weight. Even the Olympic weightlifter Max Lang show creative solutions to keep training.

Jumping from house to house, the campaign shows how all talents adapt to this new reality and find ways to train, from fitness to DIY basketball.
