After 36 years from the release of the classic Top Gun by Tony Scott, by Tom Cruise returns to take on the role of pilot Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell.
After two years of waiting and postponing finally Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox, with great surprise, have released the official trailer and the poster of the Top Gun sequel directed by Joseph Kosinski.

l Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (by Tom Cruise), one of the best aviators in the Navy, after more than thirty years of service he is still in the only place he would like to be. He avoids the promotion that would no longer allow him to fly, and he pushes the limits once again, courageously testing new planes.
Called to train a special team of Top Gun academy students for a secret mission, Maverick will meet Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), nickname "Rooster", son of his old flight mate Nick Bradshaw "Goose".
Struggling with an uncertain future and the ghosts of his past, Maverick will have to face his deepest fears to complete a very difficult mission, which will require great sacrifice on the part of all who choose to participate.
There are also in the cast Jon Hamm, Val Kilmer , Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell e Ed Harris.
The film is expected in theaters on May 25th.
We remember Tony Scott's 1986 masterpiece as the winner of the Academy Award for Best Original Song "Take My Breath Away ".
