About fifty stands await visitors to “Libri in Piazza” scheduled for April 2 and 3 in Rivoli (Turin), including three radio and television stations. There are two areas that divide them, one dedicated to the “comics” genre and the other to publishers.
The event includes a rich program of collateral events, from the welcome ceremony with the local authorities and the godmother Elena Mirullo, to the meetings with the authors, from the presentation of works and writers in the Conference Room in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, to literary aperitifs at the commercial activities in via Piol.
Finally, the organization's stand, the CSU, Collettivo Scrittori Uniti, a group of writing enthusiasts born with the aim of promoting books during national fairs. Located near the Sala Convegni, it will host numerous works and among these, for the first time in the square, the book The Lord of the Night, a mystery in Venice of 1605.
All seasoned with live musical encounters as well as insights on current issues and video-game activities.
The International Book Fair needs no introduction, this year in its XXXIV edition which, as always, promises to be full of extraordinary meetings and events.
Under the title "Wild Hearts", the reflections will revolve around the theme of the search for hope for the future, a search that never abandons us in spite of the restless, turbulent world full of enormous problems in which we live.
The 81 thousand square meters of the last edition were crossed by over 150 thousand visitors. With the concrete prospect of replicating the success, the 2022 exhibition will be held in the Piedmontese capital from 19 to 23 May at the Lingotto Fiere in via Nizza and beyond. In fact, the Salone Off initiative will bring books and shows outside the pavilions, with a privileged look at the suburbs and the metropolitan area.
Among the numerous actors of the largest Italian publishing fair, authors, booksellers, librarians, teachers and students, publishing houses and many, many readers, Hall 2 will once again host the stand of the United Writers Collective. Here the works of numerous writers will be available, including the book Il Signore di Notte, the debut work of Gustavo Vitali, which, as reported on the website of the book itself, is getting flattering reviews from readers and professionals. The same author will be present on Thursday 19 May and Friday 20.
