On May 21, 2020 at 18.00 pm the famous stylist Alviero Martini will be a guest in the television program "Let's talk about it together" hosted by Ilaria La Mura live on the RTN TV channel 607 and on all his social networks.
Alviero Martini was born in Cuneo where he completed his artistic studies and from an early age began to travel exporting his profession as a window dresser. But the fire of art burns in many other areas, in fact it deals with art, graphics, theater and fashion. In one of his business trips, precisely to Moscow, which lasted two years to renovate the Brazilian Embassies, he finds a map, a fascinating and faded planisphere. He glues it on an old suitcase and thus the idea of giving life to an innovative line of bags and luggage that has the geographical map as its motive was born.
1990 will be the year of success all over the world. Alviero is identified as the creator of a new concept of travel, and the nickname of “TRAVELING STYLIST” enters his life forcefully. He designs, creates and manages the famous collection by opening boutiques all over the world with major communication events until 2005, the year in which he decides a new path, leaves the maps for a new journey in style: ALV-Andare Lontano Viaggiando. New paths to follow in the name of a unique style with the new design of the PASSPORT accessories, in which Alviero has collected all the stamps of his passports preserved with obsessive care and has made them the new reason of distinction for an international audience that recognizes in the new line the creative vein of the Cuneo stylist. ALV - Going Far Traveling as well as a wide range of LEATHER GOODS, ACCESSORIES, WATCHES, PERFUMES, SOCKS, SPORTS CLOTHING, FOOTWEAR, JUNIOR CLOTHING, TIES AND FOULARDS, CEREMONY CLOTHING, FURNITURE ACCESSORIES, CLOTHING AND UNDERWEAR, HOME EYEWEAR , all for men, women and juniors, AND A LINE DEDICATED TO SMALL ANIMALS, for travel and for the city.
The first two elegant single-brand boutiques were opened in Kuwait City and Ryahd (Saudi Arabia) together with corners in Japan, as the main market in the Far East, and openings are also planned in Italy, with the project “La casa di Alviero ".
Alviero Martini with the new ALV-Andare Lontano Viaggiando line continues his international career with intercontinental travel, but often returns to Cuneo where he is linked by family affections and childhood memories that he wanted to collect in an autobiographical book published in 2007 by Salani Editori entitled "A dream, the world, in a suitcase", followed by two editions in e-book, and today a new paper edition, published by PAGINE Ed.-Roma, in reprint already the fourth edition, whose title is Andare Lontano Traveling.
