Our review continues to discover the trends for next year. After taking stock of the clothing-themed news and the must-have shoes for Autumn-Winter 2020-21 the time has come to dedicate ourselves to the chapter BAGS.
During this month of parades held between New York, London, Milano e Paris we have literally seen some beautiful ones: among vintage inspirations, iconic models revisited in a new key and new obsessions (see under "XXL bags"), the proposals for the cold season have proved more varied than ever.
On the catwalk they took turns bucket bag with timeless charm bourgeois and mini, micro and even nano models (like the Prada pendant bag to wear around the neck), shopper with oversized volumes and clutch in retro style, chain shoulder straps - new entry super cool that we will not be able to resist - e marsupi, declined in a totally new and hyper sophisticated key.
And then topbox, half-moon bags e tote bag designed to accompany us everywhere (including travel) once back to normal.

Big bags
Autumn-Winter 2020-21 focuses everything (or almost everything) on XXL volumes, lining up among the it bag many oversized models of the season: maxi shoppers Leather, shoulder bags exaggerated size e tote bag proof of modern Mary Poppins. Our favorite? The romantic one by Valentino, covered with powder-colored petals.

HandbagsThe perfect ally 24 hours a day? There handbag! Whether it is a capacious one top box or a more compact model - like those worn often and willingly by Kate Middleton - this type of bag is undoubtedly the most versatile of the entire wardrobe. Newer proposals include multi-compartment bag with golden details and real lady models, monochromatic and single sleeve.

Waist bags and belt bagsLet's face it, after some initial hesitation i marsupi they have completely conquered us, becoming the indispensable and irreplaceable accessory of the last seasons. Next year it will still be the protagonist, declined however in a new and hyper sophisticated guise. The proposals spotted on the catwalk are all in the name of minimal chic, a mood that translates into small dimensions and neutral colors such as taupe, optical white and timeless black.

hobo bagAmong the great revivals of next year there are also them, the hobo bag, that is the shoulder or hand bags with soft lines that recall the “vagabond” bundle from which they take their name. The most iconic model remains the one in woven leather by Bottega Veneta but there is no shortage new entry just as interesting as the hobo bag with an embossed texture by Valentino and the one in purple suede by Alberta Ferretti. If you don't like maxi volumes, opt for the more compact versions such as the Darryl by Chloé.

Mini and micro bagSmall, indeed very small. The mini and micro bags for next year they are in the palm of your hand (or even less) but are a true concentrate of style. And they carry "Handle", over the shoulder or… around the neck, like the Prada pendant bag with a rigid metal structure. Among the models to report, also the Jackie by Gucci, reissue in version cute of the iconic 50s bag with "piston" closure.

Crescent bagsSome loves don't end. And the one for the half-moon bags it seems destined to last a long time. Season after season these bags remain the obsession of everyone fashion addicted thanks to the appeal boho chic that distinguishes them. To make them even more irresistible are the details, from feathers to studs through weaves, chains, carabiners and massive logo-buckles.

Multiple bagsShopper or mini bag? Clutch bag or shoulder bag? If in doubt, wear them all together! That's right: 2020-21 fashion focuses on mix & match, inviting us to mix models of different sizes, styles and colors without fear. Let yourself be guided by the inspiration of the moment or, if you don't feel like daring too much, bet on ton sur ton, as Dolce & Gabbana and Victoria / Tomas teach.

Bucket bagsEvergreen is always classy, the bucket bags they challenge time and seasons, reconfirming themselves as a trendy accessory also for next year. The newer versions are mini and available in neutral shades or equally timeless patterns, such as the check motif or the python-effect print.

Bags with chainIn fashion jargon they are called "Chain-strap bag" and represent the latest obsession of fashion editors and influencers. The bags with handle or chain shoulder strap have been ubiquitous during this month of shows, both on and off the runways. The models to choose from are many and range from the bon ton versions with thin shoulder strap to the more fashionable proposals with maxi golden chain.

PochetteWe close in style with the clutch, irreplaceable allies of our most elegant looks (but not only). Compared to the past, the lines are softer and more retro. A few examples? The half-moon clutches with snap closure by Chanel and Miu Miu, reminiscent of the purses of the past (we are already in love with them) and the "bag" models like this one ultra soft signed Loewe.
