Shining turns 40. How did the two scary twins become today?

"Hi, Danny ... Come and play with us ..."

Among the many memorable scenes of Shining there are certainly those in which the two appear in the corridor of the Overlook Hotel twins dressed in blue holding hands. Soon, those two girls gained a reputation as 'scariest and disturbing twins in the history of cinema' and their scene was replicated and mentioned in many other productions, not to mention carnival or halloween cosplay. 

Think that in the original book by Stephen King there was no mention of twins, but of simple sisters, so their choice was an innovative move of the production. 

Lisa and Louise Burns they were twelve at the time of the shooting of Kubrick's film, which was being released in American theaters exactly 40 years ago, May 23, 1980. Think about that later Shining, the twins wanted to go to an acting school, but it was really difficult for them, because they were already considered professionals. How have they become today after 40 years?

Today Lisa is a lawyer and Louise a scientist, but both still attend horror film conventions to meet fans. They also have a Facebook page called their own Shining Twins where they post and update photos about them.
