And sport in its complexity, diversity, diversification (a term I have used all too often ...) needs its homes.
That they are in step with the needs related to performance, promotion and the territory, school, university and research, needs that are planned and through which the interventions are structured.
Italian sport today needs more than ever a great action plan on sports facilities. All.
An organic, systemic, decisive, fast but not necessarily shared plan.
And all the forces in the field must intervene. Public and Private. For competence and value.
The State must do its part by creating the first intervention plan on school facilities that makes them safe and accessible, usable and an active part of educational processes.
Where to start from? From the Constitution
By inserting the words "sport" or "physical education" in the ledger of the virtues, rights and duties of the Italian citizen. The start that would give way to what is really missing, the inclusion in the curricular training plans on a daily basis and the consequent and necessary commitment towards the structures, towards the houses.
Each school, each institute, each complex a gym, a facility, an equipped and organized space. Not the private individuals who influence the school but the school which influences physical education.
Then the picnic areas. We are among the greenest nations in Europe and with a unique biodiversity in the world. It should be exploited by creating areas for "free sport" in the parks of large cities but above all in the vast and poorly organized Italian province, net of sporadic cases of excellence.
But these are just a few houses to be built and renovated, at the same time it is necessary to intervene in the public-private partnership for grassroots sport, in the interpretation of the territories and in the redevelopment and compliance of the existing systems, in thefacilitate the Sports Clubs to access credit and ensure environments that allow you to enjoy sports in an inclusive and prospective, formative and identity way.
Finally, the infrastructure for major events. Not the sore point but the communicative flywheel.
The habit that makes the monk
We are lacking, obsolete and too tied to public intervention from an economic point of view. The large arenas must be of a private perspective but individuals must be enabled to invest while respecting the rules and not subjected to anti-historical bureaucratic opinions.
We need new stadiums and sports halls who know how to host differentiated events after analyzing the eventual (real…) redevelopment of the current ones.
The culture of sport passes from one's home. If we don't start from there we will continue to live wonderful extemporaneous summers crossing our fingers that the talent and our technical school save us and gratify us.
If all the parties involved with competent and qualified people, interested in the plan itself, in its development and not in its consequences, know how to coordinate, we will be able to build a program that will give us better homes but above all a certain future.
