Matrix 4 is one of the great films that have been stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the unpleasant interruption, there are many expectations about this new sequel, which we remember will bring back to the big screen the characters of Neo and Trinity, played by Keanu Reeves e Carrie-Anne Moss.
The two actors spoke with Empire Of their return to the franchise, revealing that this fourth chapter has come very unexpectedly and that even they would not have imagined it. Here are their words about what prompted them to return:
Carrie Anne Moss she said she was surprised at Lana Wachowski's call:
I never thought it would happen. It didn't even pass me through the antechamber of my brain. When [the project] was presented to me the way it was presented to me, with all its incredible depth and artistic integrity you can imagine, I thought it was a gift. A really exciting thing.
Keanu Reeves:
Lana Wachowski wrote a beautiful script and a fantastic story that touched me deeply. This is the only reason to do it. Working with her once again is simply amazing. It is a special experience and the story has, I believe, important things to say, from which to draw nourishment.
