The benefits of black sugar
Black sugar also called brown sugar or wet sugar or muscovado sugar is brown sugar that is not processed in any way.
It is obtained by grinding the sugar cane until obtaining a juice which is then filtered and boiled. It will then be mixed until obtaining a thick paste which will be given a shape and then left to cool. The end result will resemble a bar of chocolate.
Black sugar is the first stage of unrefined sugar. The most natural and nutrient-rich one.
With moderate refining, brown sugar called cane or raw sugar is obtained.
The white sugar that we all know is the most refined sugar to which phosphoric acid and calcium hydroxide are added to make it white.
White sugar is obtained from both sugar cane and sugar beet.
Black sugar precisely because it has not undergone the refining treatment is the richest in vitamins and minerals including: vitamins B1 and B2, magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron.
Why is it important to take black sugar?
Because it contains calcium and potassium which prevent high blood pressure by maintaining its balance and also help to relax. It is also good to take it after childbirth or during your period, it could be an excellent alternative to the craving for chocolate!
