Meghan Markle and Prince Harry launched an unprecedented attack on four British tabloids -The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Mirror and The Express - with a written declaration sent to the newspapers. "There will never again be any response and no engagement with these newspapers," they wrote.

"They ruin people's lives"

The words of Harry and Meghan are very harsh, "These tabloids have destroyed the lives of many people", they write while stressing that they do not appreciate "the way they work and their journalistic style". The couple then specified that it does not apply to all media. The statement comes as part of Meghan Markle's "war" against these tabloids. After they revealed the letters written to their father Thomas Markle. As you know, he did not accompany her to the altar on May 19, 2018 for a sudden heart attack.

Who are the royal watchers

Royal watchers are very particular journalists. Unlike colleagues, they cannot always count on direct interviews. They observe, they comment, they are based on sources close to the royals. Like when a BBC reporter noticed Margaret of England removing a feather from Peter Townsend's jacket and revealed the clandestine story of Queen Elizabeth's sister. Guest of the episode is the writer and royal watcher Federica Brunini, author of the book Kate Middleton's life as she told me (Sonzogno).
