Tips:

Always prefer breads with a wholemeal preparation rather than a classic one, as for the so-called white bread: when it is refined, like the white baguette, a bread loses its main nutrients. These are the Vitamins, fibers and mineral salts. Wholemeal breads, made with flours such as rye, spelled or kamut, will be more satisfying from a nutritional point of view.

Attention to additions rich in lipids, in the form of cheese, bacon, nuts, or other tasty ingredients - stuffed bread types have the unfortunate tendency to be significantly more high in calories compared to traditional ones.

Furthermore, the nutritional principles of rusks and other types of biscuits must be carefully checked bread for sandwiches: highly processed, they contain fats that classic bread does not naturally contain, as well as many additives it's a particularly high level of salt.

The best way to be sure of the calories in the bread you are going to eat is do it at home: by doing so, they will know exactly all the ingredients that you used to prepare itThere will be no surprises in terms of added fats or additives.
