7 reasons to make love every day: science says it!

THElove makes you feel good for several reasons. If you do the math, estimating that couples tend to make love twice a week for about 20 minutes, that's more than 6.000 Calories burned every year! Incredible, right? 2. Making love helps you stay young!

An Oxford University study reveals that sex increases the production of androgen DHEA, a natural steroid, also known as the anti-aging hormone!
During intercourse, DHEA is secreted into the body and after a orgasm, your blood level rises to five times its normal value. Also, women who have sex more often secrete a higher level of estrogen. This makes the skin more soft and radiant. Higher estrogen levels also mean protection against heart disease,Osteoporosis and, potentially, the Alzheimer's disease.

A study in Scotland showed that people who had more sex, especially women, had a lower blood pressure compared to people who abstained from sexual intercourse. These results were validated by a study from Brigham Young University where exactly the same was shown. On top of that, a study in Australia also established that people reach the pinnacle of pleasure at least three times a week have 50% less chance to die for any medical reason than those who do not.

4. It's good for the skin!

While sex is pretty much a jogging session in terms of calorie consumption, researchers at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital have determined that it is also ideal for the skin. This is due to the fact that during sex higher levels of oxygen are pumped into the body, increasing blood circulation e the supply of nutrients to the skin.
