We are all "Fruit of Chaos"

The author Paolo De Vincentiis, through his first self-production, opens the doors of his chaos to us, guiding us towards ours.

Like when you leave the house in the morning and meet a little bird looking for food and suddenly you catapult into its world realizing that you are part of something much bigger. This is probably part of what Paolo De Vincentiis investigates in his collection of poems and thoughts entitled "Fruit of Chaos", soon to be released.

His research certainly starts from an introspective and personal vision but it widens almost to want to recommend to those who are reading. He reminds us to be alive but also passing through, the bond with nature is certainly one of the common threads that binds the poems, I would almost say the raft that allows us to travel the river of words.

In any case, I don't want to reveal too much then, I add the "practical issues" and the information necessary for those who decide to browse through these pages. The poems, which develop the author's perplexities and depths, are accompanied by quotes and aphorisms of all kinds, from music to literature, plus the pages are colored with beautiful mandalas drawn by hand by Alexandra Iachini, amplifying the meanings exposed in the lines and also creating that sense of optical astonishment, necessary in this process of opening up to new points of view.

Among the pages you can find photos of places, landscapes and animals that directly inspired the author and that are part of his life; you understand the link with the earth and with what surrounds it.

The charm of nature resounds strongly between the pages, understood as something infinite that continually amazes the senses, which can be a guide and teacher for all those who live there but also a shocking and dark awakening that shows the transience of man and of this. that surrounds it, as Leopardi also taught us.

The introduction and graphics

The introduction is by Leonardo Lavalle who, as Paolo De Vincentiis himself reiterates, is his friend, brother and companion in adventures; an introduction I would say curious and interesting because it prepares you for what you will encounter by reading, but at the same time it shows the bond of two people who have shared important experiences.

The graphics are by Regalino De Vincentiis, also a person very close to the author who, even if in a more silent way than the other figures who have contributed, has certainly influenced the shape of the book, giving it the opportunity to become such.

Tips and conclusions

I recommend reading this collection because, first of all, it shifts our attention to something that we sometimes totally lose sight of, who we are; it prompts us to reflect on why we are here and if above all we are happy with who we are because, after all, we are passing through and material things are nothing but a fallback happiness.

I very much appreciated the vision proposed by the "Fruit of Chaos" because it looks at human interiority without however becoming anthropocentric, as is often done in the twenty-first century; it seems as if the author wants to tell us: yes we are important but important because we are part of something bigger, of an infinite chaos and we, as beings generated by this, carry a part inherent in us, an ancestral memory that we can access through many and different doors.

Furthermore, the collection, being a set of thoughts, quotes, drawings and photos, also leaves room for another reading approach; it can certainly be read in one breath but it also lends itself to being opened at any time to be read on any page, to give us a "maxim" or simply to remember to look around and experience all possible emotions .
