Properties and benefits of a thousand-year-old tea

Whether for a relaxing break or for a chat with friends, green tea is that excellent drink that accompanies our days and delights us with its benefits.

A shrub native to Southeast Asia where it has been used for over 5000 years, green tea is a plant with shiny green leaves and white flowers.

The leaves, collected when the plant reaches about one and a half meters in height, undergo different treatments depending on whether the tea is green, black, white or Oolong.

Recent surveys have shown that green tea is the second most consumed drink in the world (after water) ... but why?

Considering it just a simple drink is an understatement, green tea is a real remedy with a thousand properties.

Tonic, diuretic, purifying and antioxidant… it is the elixir of longevity!

Thanks to the polyphenols contained in it, green tea is an excellent anti-inflammatory, carrying out a preventive action against cancer and cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Theanine, one of its amino acids, reduces stress, while theine is a perfect tonic and stimulant.

Unlike the caffeine in coffee, theine is released gradually in the body, carrying out a more moderate and constant action ... result? Concentration longer without that annoying sense of agitation after a few coffees.

2 or 3 cups a day is the perfect dose to take full advantage of all its benefits.

I started trying it when, fed up with the usual water at work, I was looking for some pleasant alternative to drink during the day and listen, listen ... the diuresis increased immediately, the skin (after a couple of weeks of constant use) became smooth and radiant and the energy has increased dramatically.

Now I can't do without it anymore!

Certainly the taste is particular and not everyone likes it, but after a while you will get used to it and then given the benefits ... it's really worth it!

And here are the properties that most of all make it so appreciated: slimming and anti-cellulite.

Certainly it will not be enough to drain liters and liters of this drink if you do not have a correct diet or do not practice healthy sport but, combined with a diet and a little movement, green tea will be that extra weapon which will allow you to expel toxins and regain the lost line.

My advice is to drink it plain or with a few drops of lemon and to further enhance its purifying properties it is a good rule to sip it hot.

The only precaution will be not to exceed the recommended doses because like all nervine drinks it can interfere with your calm leaving you that annoying sense of nervousness and agitation.

Whether you want to lose weight, purify yourself or simply drink something different, green tea is the drink for you ... so good tea to all!
