Pandori from here, panettone from there, nougat up, sparkling wine down, in short, as every year we have been able to face, some more and some less 😀, these days of tour de force ranging from 24 to 26 December.

But the New Year and the epiphany are still missing !! How to deal with all this?

Here are some little themed tricks Detox that you can start using in these alternating days before the new year, starting on the right foot and with good intentions.

We all know that the victim of these holidays is always and only our body, which accumulates waste, toxins and swellings as if nothing had happened. The results are always the same and bear the name of fats & sugars, which each of us would gladly do without, but nothing is impossible and to eliminate them completely we must rely on them:  fruit vegetables!

 

HOW TO DETOX?

Let's go in order because, as the saying goes, “Those who go slowly go healthy and go far”.

Forced fasting is not necessary and, above all, taken independently, the human body always needs small and right quantities of food to be able to go on in the best way.

This is the famous post-holiday detox and does not require anything excessive, if not being poor in what we commonly know as "complex foods", that is: carbohydrates, sugars and dairy products, obviously preferring foods such as fruit and vegetables which, unlike the previous ones, are very rich in mineral salts and water.

Yes, the water will be our best ally for this detox path. We will cleanse and detoxify our body with a minimum intake of 2 liters of water per day so that our liver, now engulfed, can start working at full speed.

On the other hand, as for physical activity, even this short detox path must be combined with the right diet because, as the greatest personal trainers in the world said to their students "The first abdominals are done at the table!".

In this case we do not have the presumption of being able to see sculpted abs on our abdomen, but we are content to feel less bloated and more active.

We start the day by drinking a large glass of hot water with lemon juice inside, thus helping the kidneys, promoting colon drainage and giving us an immediate sense of well-being.

We continue and arrive at breakfast time. Let's eliminate the coffee for a few days and replace it with a hot draining and / or deflating herbal tea, the most suitable are those with fennel or green tea, which is also an excellent anti-tumor.

To all this we combine a medium-small portion of seasonal fruit with two tablespoons of creams with a high fiber content, which will be able to clean the waste present in your intestine.

Mid-morning or mid-afternoon snacks are the ones that always manage to bring us to our knees, because we begin to feel an increasingly present sense of hunger. The trick? Nibble on something without ever getting full.

We must always arrive quite hungry during the main meals because they are the ones that allow us to still keep us up during the day.

For the morning snack, always prefer dried fruit, in moderate quantities, such as walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts, as they are also excellent for counteracting cellular aging.

For lunch, nothing more light than a Minestrone or a beautiful one velvety of vegetables. You will get up from the table full and light at the same time.

For the afternoon snack we try to fill our sense of appetite with a portion of seasonal fruit such as tangerines, apples or oranges, rich in vitamins and minerals.

We arrive at dinner time! Blue fish is an excellent ally to carry on our post-party detox.

If you are not a fish lover, do not worry, you can easily replace everything with a small portion of basmati rice, accompanied by strictly steamed country vegetables.


Yes, it is true, we would all prefer a nice portion of lasagna homemade by mum or grandmother, but rebalancing our body after continuous days of stress is important and it will be he himself, in the future, to thank you, not presenting the bill 🙂
