Simple, soft, without decorations and inspired by the romanticism of the waves. L'most beautiful evening hairstyle in the world it was created by a 23-year-old hairdresser from Collalto di Tarcento, in the province of Udine. Her name is Arianna Petrocchi, she works in the shop of her mother Rina, a historic hairdresser in business in the Friulian village since 1972, and in her life she dreams of opening a salon in New York and combing Beyoncé.

The victory took place in the context of the world coiffure championship, the biennial dedicated to hairdressers from all over the world organized by the World Coiffure Confederation, based in Paris. This year there were over 28 countries competing in Paestum, from France to Turkey, from Russia to South Korea.

That of Arianna is a story that speaks of traditions and will, of young people who are not on the run they find the key to happiness a few meters from home. “I am proud of my victory, I owe it to those who believed in me, to my family and to the teachers of the academy that formed me”. And to think that Arianna, who grew up between fairs and salons, wanted everything in life but not to be a hairdresser. “I graduated in accounting, linguistic address, and I wanted to become a hostess. Fly away from that world of creases and hair dryers ”.
Then one day an employee of her mother goes on maternity leave, the salon needs a replacement, it's summer and Arianna doesn't hold back. A sacrifice that five years later has the flavor of victory. “It was love at first sight. After a short apprenticeship in our shop, I attended an academy in Avellino for three years and now I continue to work in Collalto. I have dreams, like everyone else, but I remain with my feet on the ground and I am already thinking of the 2019 World Championships in Osaka ”.
The victory was earned against sixty competitors thanks to the simplicity of its creation: “the jury rewarded the fact that I did not use hairpieces and decorations; which I preferred volumes and natural hair, balance and cleanliness ". Because, if she really has to think of a model, Arianna is inspired by the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn. “To be special, simplicity is enough and there is no better evening hairstyle than a classic, very soft, collected one. For those who want more creative variations I recommend the seeds collected, left long on one side”, Concludes Arianna.
