I Jalisse, also for this edition of Sanremo, were excluded from the Festival. The duo, for the 26th consecutive time, was not selected among the Bigs to perform on the stage of the Ariston Theater in Sanremo. But the Jalisse take it ironically and do not give up: they decide to publish a post on their Instagram profile where they inform the fans that, despite their absence at Sanremo 2023, they still wish the singers a good festival and a good job to Amadeus.

Under the photo of the couple published on their Instagram profile, i Jalisse they write: “26 no, but we don't stop. We are in promotion with the new Christmas single We are the only salvation which you can listen to on all digital stores and videos on YouTube, Maurizio Battista's film tomorrow night on Cine 34 4 mysteries and a Funeral with our soundtrack and unreleased music. Good luck to the rich and varied cast of Sanremo 2023 and good luck to Amadeus. Long live the Festival! See you soon with more news".

I Jalisse, the musical duo composed by the spouses Fabio Ricci, born in 1965, e Alessandra Drusian, born in 1969, dream of being able to return to performing on the stage of the Ariston Theater in Sanremo among the greats of Italian music. Their last participation in the Sanremo Festival dates back to 1997, the year that led them to victory thanks to their song Rivers of words. In the same year, the duo participated in theEuro Vision Song Contest in Dublin, taking fourth place.

But the Jalisse don't seem to give up and, probably, they will try to get back on the Sanremo stage again next year, as can be understood from the comments left under the couple's post. Last year, after being rejected yet again by the Italian Music Festival, the disappointed and angry Jalisse wrote: “The famous restart is not for everyone: we Jalisse have no space on the staff of the Sanremo Festival, but we can talk about us and make quotations. Which song did we present this year for Sanremo 2022? A song about finding ourselves and what we need to remember to get back to who we were: title This is exactly what we are missing“. Will the waters still remain so calm? Or will there be developments?
