The sweet that makes you beautiful
A super food, a lot of sweetness and a thousand properties… now honey is the protagonist.
Already used in ancient times and known to be the "nectar of the Gods", honey is a miracle of nature that only bees can achieve.
Rich in simple sugars, such as glucose and fructose, water, vitamins, mineral salts and enzymes, it is the ideal fuel for our body.
Good on rusks, great for sweetening any drink, perfect for glazing sweets and roasts and delicious on its own, honey can be consumed by everyone and at any time.
With its calories (304 kcal per 100g) lower than the common sugar and thanks to its reduced glycemic index, it can also be used by those on a diet and do not want to give up a little sweetness.
Its properties do not end there: it is suitable for athletes immediately before a physical effort or immediately after to recover strength, it is indicated for people with no appetite, children, the sick and the elderly as an energetic, and is recommended to everyone for its antibacterial power, digestive, antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory and to reduce cough symptoms.
In short, it seems to be a super food of a thousand qualities and it doesn't end there!
Have you ever tried it for silky smooth skin?
For my weekly pampering, I just couldn't do without this mask that restores light and purity to my face.
I'm talking about two natural ingredients that we all have at home: sugar and honey.
The procedure is very simple, just add a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of sugar, mix them and spread them on the previously cleansed face. After waiting for 5-10 minutes, the mixture should be massaged with wet hands in a rotary direction in order to dilate the pores and reactivate circulation.
Then you can proceed with rinsing the face with very hot water.
Don't be scared if your cheeks turn red like peppers… the effect is fortunately only transitory!
You will immediately notice smoother skin and over time, pimples and small imperfections will also disappear. To enhance this purifying effect, I love to make my mask before going to sleep and after rinsing I apply a small amount of coconut oil to maintain hydration for longer.
After years of searching for the right mask that could make my skin radiant and fresh, I am more and more convinced that nature will come to our aid ... so girls don't worry, thanks to honey, imperfections will be just a bad memory!
