After the great success of the reboot of Halloween released in 2018, plans for an upcoming new trilogy have accelerated a lot, with two films coming out between 2020 and 2021. The next chapter will be called Halloween kills and will again see the return of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) picking up the events from the last scene of the previous one.

In a recent interview with IndieWire aimed at remembering Ennio Morricone, John Carpenter (historical director of the first chapter of 1978) has provided updates on the film, talking about it with enthusiasm especially for one detail: the number of victims killed by the ruthless Michael Myers.

“Filming is done, they will do the mixing work in New York the next few weeks, then it will be ready. My work is all done. The film will be something different, it's fun, intense and brutal. A 100% slasher. I've never seen anything like it: the number of kills! "

Counting that in the 2018 film Michael Myers kills 16 people ... it will be fun to see how many this number is in the sequel!
