Retracing the dramatic experience lived by her daughter, she explained "she was a very young girl she became a mother at 19, she had a great desire to live but she was also very insecure and fragile, she was an easy prey ... the problem is that I didn't understand how far this woman could go on, even for me she was a pranotherapist - she said referring to the woman of the sect - when I realized it was too late ”. Then he launches an appeal "To mothers I want to say: try to understand immediately when the children begin to have a particular attachment because it may be too late".

Mom Ineke says she no longer knew how to help Michelle. “It was hell. I asked my business partner, he was a boy at the time, he was 34, if he could pretend he was going to therapy and if he could feel something, how Michelle was, what was happening to her. He went on this date and about 4 weeks later he calls me his wife, desperate and in tears, saying that they had to lock her husband in the house because he had become completely dependent on this woman. He went to a psychiatrist for treatment and he kept crying from morning to night… I collapsed after 3 years, my body couldn't hold up anymore, I kept fainting .. in the end I had to put on a pacemaker ”.

And, remembering Michelle's first phone call finally out of the cult, she said, “She phoned me and said, Mom can I come for breakfast tomorrow? I made her Dutch breakfast as she used to at home when she was a child… when she arrived it was the greatest joy of my life ”, she concluded with tears in her eyes.
