Thursday 18 August many bathing establishments in Toscana were affected by bad weather. Torrential rains have been recorded throughout the Tuscan coast and also in high regions of Italy very strong gusts of wind. These gusts, which even reached 150 kilometers per hour, hit several beaches and several cities in a large part of the Center-North, also causing the death of two people. Among the various devastated places there is also the famous local of Flavio Briatore: Twiga.

Il Twiga of Forte dei Marmi, which the entrepreneur owns in partnership with Daniela Santanchè, also an entrepreneur and senator of the Brothers of Italy, was half destroyed.
