Scented candles have always been one of the protagonists of these scenarios and how many times have you wondered, looking at them, how they could be made? So beautiful, colorful, rough or smooth like silk, but, above all, so fragrant!
Making them is easier than you might think.
It is an activity that is able to bring the family together, as it is also suitable for children and always manages to stimulate our creativity by having to experiment with shapes and colors.
HOW TO MAKE THEM?
As our own eyes show us, the main ingredient for making candles is wax and there are all on the market and the best is certainly that of bees, since it is natural and ecological.

(source Google)Secondly we should buy the so-called wick, that is, that white cord placed in the center of the candles. Finding it is very simple, you just need to go to any DIY store, or, if you are lazy and prefer everything to arrive comfortably at home, you can easily order it online.

(source Google)The first step is to melt the beeswax slowly and at a low heat, stirring the mixture with circular movements, in an old cooking pot or that you will no longer use.
Once you have reached the right consistency of the wax, you must place the wick in the center of a purchased or recycled mold, you can also use the jars of yogurt or honey that you have at home, given and considered that we will need only and exclusively to give the final shape of our candles.
Before pouring our mixture, always remember to lightly grease the base of your molds with a thin, almost imperceptible, layer of olive oil, in order to allow your candle to come out smoothly once cooled.
OPTIONAL: You can choose to color your candle by adding, at the time of cooking, any piece of wax crayon of your favorite color 😉

BUT HOW DO WE AROMATIZE CANDLES?

In fact, we just need to add them to the wax during cooking and that's it!
Approaching this new hobby will be exciting and, at times, it will seem that you are not even capable of it, but it is only because new things, in general, always tend to arouse in us a feeling of fear and inadequacy which, in reality, does not they belong to us because in the end, nothing is impossible 🙂
After the realization of the first one you will see that you will begin to get carried away and you will begin to produce candles after candles and decorate the house for these Christmas holidays with a personal touch that would be the envy of any of your friends 😉
