The bag, one of the accessories that drives women all over the world crazy.
Let's be honest, they are a real drug, a bit like shoes, huge bags for the day that can also contain furniture if we needed it, small bags in which
really does not even fit a packet of handkerchiefs but we need them to make everything perfect, jewel bags that hung from a ceiling would be an excellent
disco for all the stones that are on it or even bags with fringes, bags with fur, pom poms, backpacks in shiny chenille leather and so on and so forth.
Since primitive history we have news of this object; initially worn by men, the bag was obtained by curling the skin of various animals and was useful for carrying tools and weapons.
With the passing of the years and the arrival of the coin, the demand for bags increased, becoming a real personal whim as well as a feminine symbol. It was during the Middle Ages that the first real bags were born, the "zone", which was worn on the belt, the "crumena" or shoulder bag and the "manticula" that was carried by hand and therefore precedes our today's clutch.
One of the first testimonies of handbag manufacturing dates back to around the 200th century in Tuscany while in Venice we witness the birth of the bolzieri, the leather workers. The first pouch dates back to the 600th century while the first bag with a metal closure seems to be linked to the Renaissance; the seventeenth century marks the arrival of the sleeve, inside which a pocket for objects of
value; in the eighteenth century this, at the Court of the sun king, becomes bigger and bigger and changes its name into a barrel. After the French Revolution, the stock market is back in vogue and in the 700s it really has an exponential growth. In the following years we will pass from chain and clutch bags to arm bags up to today passing through the extravagant shapes and colors of the 900s-80s.
Therefore the bag is not a simple object, it is an integral part of our being and our days. I would consider the manufacture of a bag more like the realization of an architecture, for the extravagance of the shapes or the rigor of the lines, as we have seen in the Chanel, or in the much loved Fendi baguette of the 90s.
I personally love the almost sculptural bags with an unusual, non-symmetrical shape, made with cutting-edge materials or full of applications and fringes.
Furthermore, women are famous for having magical bags in which it is possible to fit everything, starting from that of the grandmother to that of the famous cartoon Mary Poppins. It is a detail that has always characterized and distinguished us as Coco Chanel also said.
And then you know that to make a perfect look you need a perfect bag.
There are really many bags, some are extravagant, avant-garde and almost real architectures like the new one Dior , a bag with short handles that seems to be made entirely of pieces of mirror, but the shape has an almost retro charm, a mix between modern and past;
the new designer bags Chanel almost all transparent, with extravagant cuts;
or even the bags of Benedetta Bruzziches, I love them because they are made on a particular line that goes from minimal to exaggerated, with stylized designs, handles that cared for and clean but also feminine lines such as quilted bags or bags full of applications of stones and pearls but above all the bag in mother of pearl, reminiscent of the shape of a colored stone, slightly glittery and transparent for a bon ton and particular look.
There are also more classic and elegant bags, like the new bags Prada, clean lines and pastel colors, an almost vintage style
or the mini Marc Jacobs, small ones enriched with a pom pom border;
then there are the bags of Loristella, an all-Italian brand that offers different shapes and models to perfectly embody the different types of women, also here a clean cut with some details such as Rouge or pom poms, all according to a very youthful and fresh style.
You don't necessarily have to spend a capital, of course, but the scholarship is a must; I am traveling and even if for only two days, despite having a full suitcase I found space for a spare mini bag.
I recommend you run and buy a new bag.
