I'm back after a long time to write, I'm back after a personal block to one of the things I love most, lo Sport and what it represents.
It happens. Just like an attacker who no longer sees the door and loses confidence, like an archer who trembles before shooting shoot the arrow, like a writer who keeps his hands still in front of the keyboard and a sheet word empty.
Today I return with a reflection. And I do it on days when a boy's death is remembered, Gabriel Sandri.
A 26-year-old who didn't have to leave, a boy/man who was following one of his passions.
And I think Passion can never be neither an alibi nor a guilt.
Passion is the drive to learn to follow and respect what you love.
And if you respect what you love, it becomes part of you.
It makes you stronger through its strengths, it makes you more open through its flaws.
It teaches you to look at the world differently.
In recent weeks I have often used the words Availability, Attention and Quality.
I did it to a group of young people trying to get across the concept that loving what you do is not just trying to do it but also developing those 3 words putting yourself at the service of your Passion.
Develop them through practical and non-theoretical equivalences that fill the Passion like a bouncing ball and don't leave it in the air like a soap bubble. They give it substance, they give it responsibilities.
Putting availability obliges you to Sacrifice, to improve in order to better experience your effort and that of your partner or your opponent.
Giving Attention is the result of the Determination to achieve a goal, the commitment due to the time spent and not lost.
Looking for quality to have more fun, to make the Passion even stronger and to aspire to make it bigger.
Then I thought about how important it is to make mistakes while doing this journey and how decisive it is not to be alone while doing it.
The Error, the comparison, the clash, the reflection, the sharing. The virtuous path that makes men better.
Le relations they are the outlet of Passion in its most complicated sense because sharing what you love is one of the most difficult and wonderful things to do.
I close with Identity and Representation. Those who follow his Passion want and need to find space, time and refuge in a whole that identifies and represents him, the house to defend, the hours to spend, the hug after defeat.
I hope to recover with momentum.
